How is the project unique?
The Cloud based solution was a unique proposition and created an entirely new market opportunity. It allowed small as well as mid-size corporate houses to compete with the large and already established players. As a product innovation the entire mammoth application was sliced down in terms of the applicability to suit the needs of the small/midsize players. Another path breaking concept as a part of the innovation was to offer tailor-made based offering to suit the exact needs of the customers. It offered the option to join hands with multiple players and third party content providers. As a natural progression, the adaptability was very high and the immediate result was increase in the customer base for Quadlabs to cater to different segments of the industry. This solution was now offered at about a fifth of the one-time license fee and about a third of the operational fee. Further, the usage fee was quoted keeping the industry standard usage so that the fee is nominal and is on a cost -cost basis. It was coined keeping in mind the industry consumption patterns, the bandwidth usage and a maintenance fee. Every cost was factored in and so included in the pay per user model. The benefit was thus distinctly passed on to the end traveler via the intermediaries. We therefore see these corporate houses offering never before prices on their ecommerce portals.
