Disha – Sanskrit Manuscripts is an online repository of information about the catalogue of Sanskrit manuscripts preserved in important libraries in the country

What we deliver

Information about the Sanskrit manuscripts preserved in the Saraswati Mahal Library.

Why is the project unique?

Yes it is unique. As the manuscripts were digitized and not scanned to ensure key word based search facility old manuscripts.

Roadmap

Digital Inclusion through ICT. Harnessing low cost, no cost technology solutions to facilitate replication and sustainability. Content enrichment with stakeholder’s participation. Benefits to each stake holders by keeping each stakeholder’s interest / objective in mind while designing the solution.
