Geographic Information Shearing Network (GISN)

Description

We offer following services at the startup of our search engine, which will be extended & refined in future. Here we have provided brief introduction to the various services of our project: 1. Users can learn general information about his/her current location. When a user visits a new area then (s) he may need some information of that location or any organization, such as name of the place, population, institution, various kinds of organization, history, transportation system etc. In our system we can provide such information based on the provided information by other users. 2. In our proposed system we introduced a new idea of location based information sharing network where one can express his/her opinion about any location, various products and services of that location. 3. One can search products, services and professionals of his/her near around. He can get the product and services list that offering by any company or any organization in his location. 4. People can maintain a social network where he/she can find other people of common interest in their location. Users can communicate with their friends to maintain a regional and social community. 5. People can provide latest news of his/her location; this news can broadcast to the other users of that location instantly through our system. 6. User can view his/her friend location in map interface. In our system we integrate the Google Map API to provide this service. 7. People can set alerts and notification for others as well as for himself. For example one can set a way point for his home from any location, so that others can just follow the way point and get the helpful direction by having the notification. 8. Farmer’s can get update about various agricultural statistics depending on his location. Agricultural report consists of information pertaining to shares in the market, size, opportunities in agriculture, and prospective growth features for that area. The perfect balance between producing new products to obtain competitive differentiation, and keeping a lid on production costs. 9. People can get the current weather report of his location. 10. Buyer – seller communication maintenance for different product for different community.

Why is the project unique?

1. Location based information sharing network has been introduced in our system. 2. Real time news service is totally a new concept. For example: a person is driving and an accident occurred 1km away from him/her. If the person uses our system we can send him/her the news instantly if other users publish it. So that (s)he can take necessary steps like change the track. 3. Social networking is contemporary concept but we added new dimension like, a user can know his/her friends position in a map interface. Also user can maintain his/her local information sharing community. 4. People can search for nearest products, services and professionals.
