‘Behtar Zindagi’ – A revolutionary exclusive rural IVR service on Handygo’s short code ‘556780’ is designed after a research spanning over 12 months and with a vision to connect with rural India, keeping in mind the biggest section of the rural population-farmers. The service aims at empowering the Rural Indian population by providing them relevant, accurate, updated and critical information on different verticals relevant to the rural community. The motto of the service is to empower the Rural People with Information using mobile as a medium that will help them to head towards a Better Life- “Behtar Zindagi”.

What we deliver

Unique features of Handygo’s rural initiative 1. Innovative Pin Code based mandi prices offered free of cost to all callers. 2. IVR based exclusive Rural Service supplemented through SMS. 3. Accessible on TOLL FREE number throughout India from several operators. 4. State level and District level content segregation, delivered through regional voice based menu (18 regional languages). 5. Content sourced from Govt. bodies, Universities, institutions, NGOs and Private organizations. 6. Bundled pack, covering both Agricultural and non- Agricultural activities. 7. Covers wide range of information touching every aspect of Rural Life. 8. Provides a platform to institutions/organizations for dissemination of information. 9. Handset independent and 24X7 availability. 10. Being on regional IVR – it overcomes literacy barrier in rural areas.

Mobile is the new GINEE… being most penetrated tool available these days ‘M’ has taken over ‘E’… mobile scores today over any other tool available to connect, to disseminate and to inform. Mobile technology is a boon in today’s era for any society, any community or any country. For sure a global network of people using mobile technology will help in creating awareness and spreading relevant information but the base offering, application, content or service needs to be accurate, to the point and relevant. Today the scenario is changing from pull based to push based information and mobile, no doubt, is most suited to this version of information dissemination. Also, the trend is changing from managed application to managed business wherein end to end solution is being provided by the service provider. There is a race going out in the market to launch most innovative and effective application as the mobile users are showing mature signs and the traffic on information access through mobile is increasing in massive manner.
