How is the project unique?
The uniqueness in our project has two folds; how we collect the information and archive for future reference Collecting information We have a physical network among the schools We have leverage the internet by using twitter and flickr to update the information instantly to the site Match coverage were carried out by mobile enable backend, because, there won’t be proper infrastructure facilities for the school matches. Eg: media box The mobile enable backend is developed in such a way click of buttons will update the entire required field in the front-end. Eg: In cricket, if a batsman score 1 run, the guy who covers the match has to type 1 from his mobile, then the record get updated to total score, individual scores, the system will automatically change the striking batsman. Same will happen to the bowler and the overs and the extras. Archiving Archiving happens for each and every sports and each and every school and most importantly each and every individuals Statistics can be derived from the archiving individual archiving has been transformed as profiles and this carries the respective individuals performance, write-ups, paper articles and pictures
Roadmap
We will align our site to generate content via crowd sourcing by introducing social networking elements.. In simple term anyone from any part of the world can post their school or college matches to the system.. The contributors will be awarded badges to maintain the credibility of the information. Our revenue generation mechanism of impression/click base ad revenue model will work perfectly on this space. So, our long term or rather short term goal is to go global.
