Description

M-SCUP (Mobile to Site Content Update) is an application developed to update the content of a web site without an internet connection(via sms). Currently this method can update only text but later we intend to develop this for images as well. So our app is currently running successfully on etisalat net work, Sri Lanka. A user (or a limited set of users aproved by web master) will be given a password and they can update the news feed of the web site by typing an sms as passwordtext to update and sending it to 4499 from an etselat connection. Distinguishable feature of this app is, user need not to register phone and use the same phone number (as we do in facebook) to perform update. User can use any phone to perform. Also not like the existing systems, the cost can be charged by the user for each update.

What we deliver

1) Web site owners. 2) Web masters The Web masters will be able to perform simple updates to the web site without complex logins and from any location, even without and internet connection. Nothing to learn about web site updating. Almost everyone knows how to send a text message.

Whom we deliver

1) idm corporate Training Division, Sri Lanka Following clients has requested service and will be provided within the month of April. 1) Data Institute of Management Studies 2) Swimming Coaches Association, Sri Lanka 3) Association of Private Hospitals and Nursing Homes, Sri Lanka.

Why is the project unique?

1) Any phone can be used to perform the operation if the password is known 2) No need to register the phone number to take service 3) The exact user will be charged (per text or subscription) – not the company owner as the existing systems do. 4)simple mechanism. 5) User need not pay money for somewhere, it’s reduced from his credit balance and it’ll save time.

Roadmap

“The world in your hand” is our slogan for mobile products. So the people even who do not have a proper IT literacy should be given opportunity to connect with global village.
