Telemedicine, e-education are our main focuses. E-commerce through the Internet and local e-commerce through local network, and VoIP using SIP Protocols are our main applications. Other applications that we are using are virtual-ATM service, video conferencing and hotel booking system. Asterisks software is being used for VoIP services. For international calls, we use the IP gateway of different providers as per the rates available. Moreover, we are helping blinds people to use computers and browse the Internet.

Why is the project unique?

Technically speaking, our project is not unique because there are people in other parts of the world using wireless technology. It is unique in the sense that we are bringing the technology in the areas where there is no roads and modern communication means.
