Roadmap
For a country, as large and diverse as India, Digital Content can play a crucial role in providing access to various services to people in need at a large scale. We believe that digital content can bridge the crucial gap of information outreach to last mile users, especially in rural India, where, a large chunk of Indian population lives. This can be in various forms, be it e Governance for proper maintenance of land records in government offices, e Health for providing expert doctor’s opinions sitting in different parts of country, e classrooms where one faculty can teach many students at a time and many more. Though last mile connectivity is still an issue for various parts of the country, the progress in that front is very fast, especially with the advent of new wireless and mobile technologies. Accordingly, the content development process would have to increase its pace, because once the infrastructure would be in place, there would be great demand for content, as the world has seen in early days on Internet.
