Tech News provides updates about happening in the world of IT quickly while basing News alerts on updates about Software, Hardware, Mobile Phones, Gadgets and IT companies.

Whom we deliver?

Users of the Tech News are the people who are interested in knowing updates on IT industry. Tech News is targeted at IT students, IT executives and people who are interested in knowing about technology. However, service is currently available only for Etisalat Mobile users in Sri Lanka.

How is the project unique?

Currently none of the mobile service providers in Sri Lanka except for Etisalat (Etisalat Tech News) provide technology news updates to their customers as SMS based application. Therefore, Etisalat tech news stand unique among Sri Lankan SMS based application by providing updates on softwares, hardware, gadgets, mobile phones and IT companies.

Roadmap

Tech News has a vision to be the best IT content/news provider in Sri Lanka based on SMS applications. It wishes to expand its services o other mobile operators in Sri Lanka. Once the smart phone market penetration is achieved in Sri Lanka it wishes to develop Android and iPhone applications to deliver better services to its subscribers.
