Where the project has been initiated/implemented?

Description of the Project.
The idea is to film a dancer on a neutral background, on which the image is projected in real time. This projected image is modified by the variations of movements located by various sensors (deformation of movement, design effects). The idea is to create an interaction between photography and the other media to change artistic practice.
Uniqueness of the Project.
Thanks to the freeware Pure Dated, it is possible to connect of the visual and digital elements with the physical world. It opens new opportunities for artists and creators.
What is the social value/Impact of this project?
The project designer is concerned with social issues and uses dance and other types of body language to raise global awareness about social issues in Senegal.
What is the potential of this project to expand and develop?
Since 2001, the designer has been publishing with the Pan-African news agency, Panapress and participated in many art exhibitions. She relies on her good visibility to expand her idea and make aware more people about different social issues in Senegal.
What was the triggering factor of this project?
In 2010, at the Festival of Fort-de-France in 2010, the designer showed images of floods in the suburbs of Dakar to raise awareness of the living conditions of people in these difficult situations. The success of this exhibit inspired her to continue developing her own mode of expression about social issues.
