Cell Shakti aims at empowering this section of the population with valuable information and entertainment primarily on voice, as well as on SMS, the usage of which would be comfortable to this segment. Cell Shakti is a unique product that focuses on the Rural Segment, offering a bouquet of services to the rural population consisting of – commodity prices, crop and agricultural information, educational and health services, weather and animal husbandry, law and order, pesticides and gadgets along with entertainment supplementing the offering. This package helps overcome the information constraints and strives to contribute towards empowering people with the right tools on the mobile device enabling them to make informed decisions. The “Cell Shakti” Service would be three fold; one – location based/STD Code/Taluk based dynamic data service, with data refreshed every 24 hours, for example, Mandi Bhav, Weather Info and Health Care. Two – location independent static data, for example, Educational Service, Info on Basic Law and Order, Animal Husbandry, Pesticides, etc. Three – content based service, latest Bollywood Masala, fashion gossips and corresponding ring tones will be cross promoted.
